At the Nobel Tail, we have a profound regard from the sanctity of animal rights, and we are passionate about using our platform to advocate against animal cruelty. Its horrifying unconceivable to imagine animal cruelty and abuse in a world as advanced and conscious as ours, but despite the many cultural advancements, animal cruelty remains prevalent across the world.
It pains us to say that at least one animal has to suffer abuse in every one minute. Animal cruelty manifests itself in countless forms. Sometimes, humans penetrate into their habitats and kill them as a sport. Other times, they are beaten and abused to perform agricultural chores and transportation roles. Many animals are used as testing pawns to support the success of the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, while many animals are abused and killed simply for the crime of existing.
An emotional intellectual animal is capable of showering love, experiencing fear, pain and angst, and expressing abilities of care and compassion. Sentient animals are capable of creating lasting social bonds, which is why, it’s time we took the fight against animal cruelty to another level.
Despite our realization of human rights and global pledges for kindness, we continue to thrive in a world that is blind to the scourge of animal cruelty. Chickens and pigs continue to languish in appalling condition, while many an animals are exposed to harmful chemical reactions of testing trials conducting by pharmaceutical and cosmetic giants.
This is primarily because the fight for animal cruelty, despite its many advocates, has failed to garner sufficient support across the world to actually make an impact. If we want to, we can all make a difference by simple regarding every animal as our fellow beings. And this regard should not be limited to our pets, or adorable cats and dogs, but in fact, every single species in the animal kingdom.
We must respect our fellow animal beings, and regard their right to this planet and its resources. If we carve out a balanced lifestyle, and focus on sharing our planet with animals we can actually put an end to animal abuse and cruelty.
How can we achieve this?
We achieve our goal to end animal cruelty by spreading awareness and highlighting their plight. We must play an active role in putting an end to animal abuse or neglect. Any accidents that involve scaring, harming, terrorizing, abusing and exposing them to harmful substances must be reported.
The crux of the problem lies in the simple fact that people choose to turn a blind eye to animal cruelty. When they see children thrown stones at an injured dog on the streets, they simply choose to look the other way. If we truly pledge ourselves to the cause, spread awareness and make an active effort to put an end to animal cruelty.
With that thought in mind, we have channeled our passion to protect animals by collaborating with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. They are certainly making a powerful impact, and we are immensely proud to call ourselves partners in this fight for a world that is free of animal cruelty.
